ABOUT US
NTA IS A BUSINESS CONCEPT
NTA is a business concept spawned by an engineer and a HR professional over 25 years ago. Both were convinced that the American concepts of Quality/Productivity being embraced overseas needed to be spread. Armed with the principles of Deming and Juran and the tools of Shewhart and Ishikawa they set out to changes the ways of manufacturing here in the United States.
BENEFITS OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES
While new technologies demystified hard manufacturing it also created worldwide competition. This country’s manufacturing center rapidly began to erode and so did millions of US jobs. Governments stepped in with training grant programs to assist companies to upgrade skills and/or retrain away from manufacturing. NTA linked these quality/productivity programs and tools with these grant programs and soon became expert in both. With this linkage NTA was able to assist thousands of manufacturing companies, without the resources, improve their products and systems.
NTA PRINCIPLES
As the US relied more heavily on its service sectors NTA applied these sound principles to the burgeoning service industries and was one of the first to develop Lean for Service. We have implemented these programs across nearly all service sectors with great success.
CUSTOMERS NEED TO KNOW
Customers in the “world” of manufacturing, needed to know just what they were buying and how it was being made. An international standards organization touted ISO 9000 and it took off internationally. NTA to date has led hundreds of companies to registration in every variation and adaptation of these standards and industry formats.
